D/C-2 requested the dwelling evacuated. Command special called two additional engines and one ladder above the box. Fire extended to the exposure. One firefighter was transported to the hospital with an unknown injury.

KYW Radio:

Officials say one firefighter was injured while battling a blaze in Northeast Philadelphia.

The fire broke out at about 12:45 p.m. Saturday along the 4700 block of Worth Street in the Frankford section of the city.

According to authorities, firefighters arrived to heavy fire coming from a home and had to evacuate the structure before bringing the blaze under control.
