Video above from KIII-TV on Friday morning after an explosion rocked a neighborhood near the TV station.

Corpus Christi Times:

An explosion early Friday destroyed three Corpus Christi homes, displaced about 34 people and was felt by residents miles away.

Fire Capt. James Brown said investigators believe there was a natural gas release or leak inside a home in the 4800 block of Holmes Drive that caused the explosion.
