The video is by Sara Kai McCarthy who commanded the cheerleading section on Side A at this July 18 Houston, Texas house fire. The commentary is worth listening to on both Part 1 and Part 2 (above and below). Part 1 was posted to YouTube on the day of the fire in Houston Heights. Part 2 was uploaded today.

There is an evacuation order on Part 2 at about 3:30 that comes after more of the roof caved in. It appears to have been one of a number of moves to defensive operations at this fire in a large home converted into apartments.  On Part 1, firefighters were ordered out at about 6:30. The chimney collapses at about 7:40 as it is hit by the stream from the tower.

Craig Hlavaty, Houston Chronicle:

A fire at a four-unit apartment in the Heights is under control after 18 units from the Houston Fire Department fought the blaze for an hour this afternoon.

Nobody was injured in the fire, which consumed the second floor and attic of the structure at E. 11th Street and Heights Blvd.

Resident Lee Castillo said he smelled smoke in the attic and saw a small fire inside. Castillo said he has owned the building since 1974.
