A number of people were forced out of their home after a two alarm fire spread from one house to another Sunday morning on Rochester’s north side.

This happened on Farbridge Street near Remington Street shortly before 3:30 a.m.

There was extensive damage inside the first home that caught on fire and the flames caused damage to a neighboring house.

Firefighters say there were reports of people jumping from the roof to escape the fire.
