This is an interesting video from OccasionallyEvil that shows the progression of the fire in a 100-year-old building in Keremeos,BC on Monday.

If you watch it all the way through you will see that it burns long enough the incident commander (at least that’s what his vest says) ends up on the nozzle and heavy equipment was brought in to tear the place down while it burned.

There is more video below.

Ragnar Haagen, Castanet.net:

Keremeos residents and business owners are devastated after a fire tore through an old building in downtown Keremeos Monday morning.

“This is the worst thing that could happen,” said Bill Irvine, who owns the building. ” We have invested our lives in this for the last 10 years.”

There were three businesses in the building, including the Red Bridge Pub, 7th Street Diner and a liquor store. Around 20 employees worked in the businesses.
