Sulaiman Abdur-Rahman, Philly.com:

A pregnant woman and her 3-year-old daughter died Monday of injuries suffered in an apparently coordinated assault and subsequent arson at a Levittown apartment complex, according to family members.

"They were both stabbed," Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler said Monday night, adding that he did not know if that was the cause of their deaths.

"That would suggest the fire was set to conceal a crime," Heckler said, speaking by phone on his way to the scene. He said he could not immediately confirm the identities of the victims.

WPVI-TV:

Family members identify victims of the deadly incident as 22-year-old Ebony Talley and her 4-year-old daughter R'mani.

The fire, according to authorities, was set to conceal the crime.

The fire broke out around 3:30 p.m. Monday at Avalon Court Apartments on the 3500 block of Bristol Oxford Valley Road.

R'mani suffered burns over 70% of her body.
