The video has been making news in New York since yesterday (Tuesday) when NYC Fire Wire posted it on Facebook. It was recorded Sunday on Halsey St. near Tompkins Ave. in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn.
Officials are investigating a bizarre incident in which a man smoking crack set himself on fire in Brooklyn, then nonchalantly walked away as his clothes burned off him, according to a report.
