I wonder if the person on the jet ski in the video above was inspired by the people in the boat in the viral video below from two years ago. This fire took place in Honolulu Hawaii. When the burning boat went beyond the reach of the firefighters on land you will see the jet ski come into the picture at about 5:00 into the video. Here’s the description from dtservices808:
Just behind the Hawaii Kai COSTCO, a boat on fire is too close to the shore and the shrubbery prevents firemen from dousing the flame. Then the spray pushes the boat too far out for the water stream to reach and the firemen helplessly watch the blaze. Luckily a jet skier comes to the rescue and creates water sprays with deep turns to help extinguish the flames as well as push the boat back towards shore within reach of the fire department water cannon.
