Who do you call when a bull goes swimming in your pool?

San Antonio firefighters and police grabbing the bull by the horns this week.
The rescue happened Tuesday at a home on Pecan Grove near Southcross on the Southeast Side.
Animal Care Services says about a half dozen cows and bulls got loose from a nearby property and started roaming the neighborhood. That’s when one of them wandered into a back yard and fell into a pool.
The fire department’s Technical Rescue Team shared photos and cell phone video of the big team effort it took to get the bull out of the water.
“The problem at that point is you have an unruly animal,” said Special Operations Battalion Chief Walter Yates. “You’ve got to keep from getting kicked and that kind of stuff. But these guys are pretty experienced. Most of them are country boys.”
