WV firefighter son helps extricate firefighter dad involved in collision – Captures it on helmet-cam

This is pretty remarkable helmet-cam video from Jason Steiner who is a member of the Great Cacapon Volunteer Fire Department in Morgan County, West Virginia. This is Jason’s helmet-cam video of a vehicle extrication he was involved in early Thursday morning. The person trapped in the vehicle is Jason’s dad Roger Steiner. The extrication lasted about an hour.
Fellow firefighters say a member from the Great Cacapon Volunteer Fire Department is lucky to be alive after his truck went off of the roadway, crashing into a tree.

The accident happened around 5 a.m. Thursday morning in the 3500 block of Cacapon Road.
Members with Eastern Panhandle Working Fires Facebook page acknowledged the victim as Captain Two Roger Steiner. They say he has one broken rib, and is extremely sore but doing okay.
It took crews about an hour to get him out.
