Video from neighbor Anthony Ryan Merwin taken Monday evening after neighbors reported hearing an explosion on Texa Tonka Avenue in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

WCCO-TV:

A woman was brought to a hospital Monday night after escaping a house fire in the west metro.

She was the only occupant of a single-story home on the 2900 block Texa Tonka Avenue in St. Louis Park, fire officials said. She was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene before being brought to a local hospital.

Neighbors in the area said they heard explosions coming from the woman’s house.

A St. Louis Park homeowner escaped her burning house after she and neighbors heard explosions Monday night.

The house at 2917 Texa Tonka Av. caught fire about 6:30 p.m. said St. Louis Park Fire Chief Steve Koering.

CenterPoint Energy found no gas leaks and investigators do not yet know the cause of the fire, although Koering said there were oxygen tanks in the house.
