A man was using suction cups to climb the side of Trump Tower in Midtown on Wednesday afternoon — prompting a massive police response, with helicopters in the air and airbags being inflated in case he fell.
The climber — dressed in what appeared to be high-end mountain climbing gear — made it about five floors above a landing as he slowly made his ascent.
A video posted to Twitter showed cops and security looking up helplessly from the ground as the daredevil scaled the glass building. Yet another photo shows police trying to talk the man down.
