Raw video from Jamesport, NY condo fire
Video from RiverheadLOCAL of a fire Thursday afternoon at the Maidstone Landing condos in Jamesport, New York (Suffolk County).
Police received reports of heavy smoke coming out of a chimney around 3 p.m. today. When they arrived on scene, they found visible flames coming out of the roof of the house. Jamesport Fire Department arrived on scene shortly after. Riverhead, Wading River, Mattituck, Cutchogue and Flanders fire departments were called on mutual aid.
A garage door collapsed on a firefighter while he was passing underneath, but he said he was not injured. There did not appear to be any other injuries.
