Raw video: Commercial fire in Washburn, Iowa

Nicely shot video from Myke Goings of a fire early today (Monday) in a commercial building in Washburn Iowa. At 4:23 in the video you will hear a little commotion as power lines start arcing and sparking.

At 12:28 a.m. today, 2014-11-17-MO, Gilbertville Fire responded to a business fire at Anemone’s Clowns and Coral at 7112 La Porte Road in Washburn.

Upon arrival flames could be seen in the building. Heavy smoke was pushing from the building. Two houses near the business were evacuated and a garage within a few feet of the building was in danger of catching fire.

Live electrical lines on the back of the building melted and snapped from the fire.
