Los Angeles Firefighters made quick work knocking down a blaze on the second floor of a two story apartment house on the 9800 block of South La Salle Avenue in South L.A. Engine 57, Task Force 64 & 66 first on scene reported a second floor unit “well involved.” Firefighters quickly forced entry, advanced handlines and had the bulk of the fire knocked down in 15 minutes. There were no reported injuries, the occupant of the apartment escaped safely.
