Elissa Rivas, KTRK-TV:

A tip to the Rosehill Fire Department led to the discovery of the department’s stolen fire truck.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s office hauled the stolen truck from a heavily wooded property off FM 1486, north of Magnolia. The radio, siren, and light bar are all missing. The left front axle is also damaged.

Someone stole the F-350 brush truck during the early morning hours on Monday from Rosehill Fire Department Station 3 in Hockley on FM 22531.
