Video shows fire spread at building under construction

Area roads are closed and Calgary fire crews continue to work on scene at a massive fire that broke out Saturday afternoon in Mission.
Huge plumes of black smoke filled the downtown skyline from a two-alarm blaze at a four-storey building under construction in the 100 block of 17th Avenue S.E.
As of 6:30 a.m. Sunday, crews were still working to find any hidden fires as well as the control building’s collapse.
“We’re still experiencing difficulty extinguishing this fire,” said Battalion Chief Allan Ball early Sunday morning, noting public safety is the fire department’s priority. “We’ve had a significant collapse of the building here.”
