We’ve had a great response and it looks like a nice crowd will be gathering in Georgetown – DC next Sunday as we celebrate the 8th anniversary of STATter911. In my household it’s also known as Dave’s 60th Birthday Bash. That’s because, looking at some of those who are coming, it is likely it could turn into a Dave Statter bash-fest (among those attending is that guy from Roanoke, VA who runs the Fire Cricket website, who may or may not be a blood relative).
In fact, the bashing has already started with some friendly fire from someone who lives in my own house, plus a preemptive strike by me aimed toward Roanoke. Check out the video below.
There will be music, prizes, food and drink from 5-9 p.m. next Sunday (April 12) at Mr. Smith’s of Georgetown, 3205 K Street, NW in Washington. The most important thing to know about the party is that all of the money goes to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. Click here to buy a ticket. If you can’t join us, please make a donation to support NFFF.
Hope to see you Sunday.
