Early video from Aaron Zapata of a house fire yesterday (Wednesday) on Chestnut Street in Yorba Linda, California. The bomb squad was brought in to dispose of ammunition that was stored in the house.
The bomb squad was called to a fire that gutted a home in Yorba Linda on Wednesday after ammunition in the garage started exploding, authorities said.
Approximately 70 firefighters responded just before 1:40 p.m. to a house fire in 17200 block of Chestnut Street, Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Steve Concialdi said.
“Ammunition was going off,” Concialdi said. “It’s not like a projectile, like shooting from a gun, but it’s still loud and scary for everybody involved.”
