Historic Harpers Ferry, West Virginia was the scene of a three-alarm fire early today (Thursday). The town bordering Maryland and Virginia was battled by firefighters from at least five counties in the three states.

At the bottom of the page, after the WJLA-TV/ABC 7 news coverage, is drone video of Harpers Ferry shot yesterday by Fly Guys Aerial Media, just hours before the fire occurred. Jefferson County West Virginia Fire and Rescue officials say the initial fire was reported at 3:15 a.m. near the intersection of High St and Shenandoah St.
At least four buildings have been deemed a total loss, including popular restaurant Private Quinn’s Pub. Fire officials say the fire started at the top of one building and worked its way down, setting adjacent buildings ablaze.
