UPDATE
Around 5:00 p.m. ET news reports began indicating that they expected the death toll to rise in the crash today in Akron. It’s been confirmed 9 people were on the plane and there are no survivors.
There were nine people aboard the private jet that crashed Tuesday afternoon into an apartment building in Akron, reports say.
The owner of the jet, Florida-based Execuflight, told the Akron Beacon Journal that there there were nine people on the Hawker H25 aircraft, which holds 10 people.
