Somehow I missed these short but interesting videos from a July 25 fire at the Visser residence in Wakefield, Kansas (Clay County). The clips are from Luke Visser. Firefighter Nation and Chicago Fire Wire beat me to them, but they are still worth sharing.
As Donald Rumsfeld once famously pointed out, “You go to war with the army you have …” And that’s what these firefighters did to open up this roof to get water into the soffit and beyond. It’s certainly not your conventional roof operation. Here is news coverage of the fire.
