Ali Mansour, AKA “The Bomb”, is a boxing champ (see video below) and the owner of a gym and a lube shop in Windsor, Ontario. But he says it was being the son of a former firefighter that prepared him to take charge after a pickup truck crashed into three other vehicles and caught fire Saturday in front of Mansour’s Lube Plus.
A surveillance camera captured everything on video (above). News reports indicate that all injuries, including to the man ejected from the pickup truck, were relatively minor.
The video shows a minivan heading in the same direction as the pickup truck come to rest in the ditch with its driver’s side smashed. The pickup truck drives in the wrong lane and rams into the front of a small black car, sending it into the air and spinning toward the lube shop driveway. The truck’s roof is shredded into pieces as the vehicle flips into the air and crashes into an oncoming van.
One man is charged with drunk driving. Police haven’t yet said whether the driver of the pickup truck was the man charged or whether other charges are expected.
Mansour is a heavyweight boxing champion who said he learned tips on dealing with emergencies from his father, a former firefighter.
