A fire in the engine of a pickup truck sparked a blaze that caused about $50,000 in damage to a building in East Earl Township Wednesday night.
A man had been working on the vehicle in an old carriage house/barn at 820 Wallace Road just before 7 p.m When he went to start the truck, fire erupted under the hood, according to Garden Spot Fire Rescue Deputy Chief Darryl Keiser.
