Above is raw video and radio traffic from long-time contributor Vito Maggiolo. It was taken last (Monday) night during a fire at the foot of Canal Street in New Orleans, Louisiana. The fire was in a storage area used by The Crazy Lobster restaurant. News coverage here. Here’s what Vito wrote:
Working one alarm fire involving a large storage shed in a waterfront restaurant adjacent to the Algiers Ferry terminal. Firefighters overcame poor access, lack of hydrants, and gusty winds to contain the blaze before it could spread into the restaurant.
