Prince George’s County Chief Tackles “Absolutely Unacceptable” Actions – Union Reports Gear Tampering

Prince George’s County (Maryland) Fire/EMS Department Chief Marc Bashoor addresses several reported incidents in firehouses as part of an update video to personnel posted on YouTube Tuesday.

In a letter to Fire Chief Marc Bashoor from IAFF Local President 1619 President Andrew K. Pantelis outlined six alleged incidents tied to Oxon Hill Station 842, including reports of personal protective equipment being targeted and tampered with.

The nature of the damage is part of an ongoing investigation that will “leave no stone unturned,” Bashoor said in the video. “We cannot and will not tolerate this activity … If you are a party to these activities I assure you we will uncover it.”
