From WCBS Radio:

The fast-moving 4-alarm fire started around 1 p.m. Wednesday at a mixed commercial-residential building on Broadway and 74th Street in North Bergen.

Heavy smoke and flames were seen shooting from the roof as crews worked to extinguish the fire and keep the blaze from spreading to nearby structures. The roof appeared to be heavily damaged.

From NJ.com:

A four-alarm blaze is still burning (Thursday morning) on Broadway in North Bergen, and the smoke is so thick and heavy that people in the area are covering their faces with hankerchiefs.

One firefighter was injured in the fire, and there are reports that another person was injured.

From WNBC-TV

Deputy Fire Chief Frank Montagne said his firefighters were met by a "wall of fire" when they entered the building, but they had spotted a woman in the window and knew where to look for her.

She was found in her apartment, conscious but overcome by smoke, Montagne said. Firefighters carried her down a ladder and she was taken to a hospital.

The woman in her 40s, identified as Elizabeth DeJesus, suffered smoke inhalation and possible burns, officials said. She is the mother of a North Bergen police officer.
