Five people were taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries, said Kevin Fox, a battalion chief for the Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue Services.
Firefighters from Frederick, Montgomery, Carroll and Howard counties were dispatched to 13701 Old National Pike at 7:09 p.m. They found flames shooting through the building’s first-floor windows.
