Pre-arrival video by Nine O Levin showing a maintenance crew rescuing an elderly man from an apartment fire yesterday (Wednesday) at 807 Juniper Street in Silver Spring, Maryland (Montgomery County).

In GoPro video, captured by Fabio Martins, several neighbors and maintenance workers were seen running to help the 84-year-old man who was trapped in his apartment when smoke started billowing from the third floor.
“When you hear someone calling for help, you don’t think what’s happening….the poor guy was on the third floor and we couldn’t see anything,” said Obed Flores.
ABC7 talked to the 84-year-old’s nephew’s wife, she says the family is thankful for Flores and those who helped with the rescue.
