One building was destroyed in a large fire that broke out Friday afternoon at Triple Nickel Auto Parts.

More than 100 firefighters from multiple fire companies in Franklin, Adams, Cumberland and Fulton counties and Washington County, Maryland, spent 80 minutes battling the blaze until they were able to get it under control at 3:39 p.m, according to Franklin Fire Company Captain Marshall Maravelis The initial call to the fire at 2956 Lincoln Way West came in to dispatchers at 2:18 p.m.

Crews arrived to find flames coming from the roof, and the 300-by-100-square-foot building heavily involved in fire, Maravelis said. There were no civilian injuries, but several firefighters were treated for heat-related maladies during the afternoon.
