Firefighters from Merrimack Valley and New Hampshire on Sunday night battled a three-alarm blaze on Plum Island, officials said.
The large house fire broke out at around 7:30 p.m. at a home on 59th Street on the island’s northern section, a part of Newburyport, the town’s fire department said in a statement.
