This is dash-cam video from August 18 that shows the end of a police chase resulting in the suspect crashing into five other vehicles on Main Street in Rexburg, Idaho. The man, dressed as a woman, was a suspect in the burglary of a gun store.
The vehicle that flies through the air is an ATV that was in the bed of the pickup truck driven by the suspect.
The chase started when St. Anthony Police attempted to pull the man over around 2:28 p.m. Thursday.
Rexburg Police caught up with the suspect at JB’s Restaurant on Main Street in Rexburg and penned the man in. According to police, the man rammed police vehicles several times before he crashed through a wooden shed and continued to flee.
The chase came to a stop after the suspect crashed at Main and Center street outside of the Romance Theater. A total of 6 cars were involved in the crash including police vehicles and the suspects. An ATV at the site of the crash was in the bed of the truck before the crash. One of the vehicles was being driven by a woman with a baby in the vehicle. Both were taken to Madison Memorial Hospital to be treated for injuries. Four to five people were injured in the crash, including the suspect.
