Caught on video: SUV tumbles off 4th floor of parking garage & woman walks away

The video, above, is a condensed version of the video when an SUV fell off the fourth floor of a Towson, Maryland parking garage on March 14. It also has the video enlarged and slow motion. The complete, raw video from the Baltimore County Police Department is below.

UPDATE (March 23, 2016  6:22 p.m.):

Baltimore County Police have identified the driver of the vehicle that drove off of a MD Towson car off parking garage 3 3-14-16fourth floor garage on Towson March 14 as 23-year-old Lindsay Taylor Cook of the 900 block of Southerly Road 21204. 

Cook was pulling into a parking space on the fourth floor of a parking garage when her vehicle, an Audi Q5 SUV, went forward, crashed through the concrete barrier, and fell to the sidewalk below. She was not seriously injured during the crash. 

During the investigation, officers obtained the surveillance video showing the sidewalk area. That video is available on our YouTube channel.    

Original release (March 14, 2016  10:47 a.m.):

Just before 9 a.m. this morning, Baltimore County Police and Fire personnel responded to the 100 block of Allegheny Avenue in Towson for a crash.

An Audi Q5 fell out of the fourth floor of a parking garage and landed upside down on the sidewalk. The driver, a woman in her early 20s, was in the car when it fell, but she was not seriously injured. She was transported to Sinai Hospital for treatment.

The incident is under investigation by the Precinct 6 Traffic Unit.
