The female occupant escaped the burning home with her dog but she suffered burns and had to be treated at a local hospital.

The call came in around 10:30pm for the West Hartford Ave location. Heavy fire was showing from the structure on arrival. Because there are no hydrants in the area, a 2nd alarm for tankers was requested immediately.
