360-cam: Texas duplex fire

Recently posted video from Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department of a duplex fire in October. This is a 360-degree camera that some of you will be able to adjust with the control in the upper right hand corner. Here’s the description with the video:

On the afternoon of Sunday, October 16, 2016, the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department (CFVFD) was dispatched to a “Car Fire Threatening a Structure”. First on scene units (Engine 4 & Rescue 3) arrived to a duplex fully involved.

The following video was on board the CFVFD’s Engine 6 (a.k.a. The Phantom 6). Engine 6 was third on scene and immediately went on an Offensive Attack; entering the structure and fighting fire in the attic of the first unit under heavy fire, with Rescue 3. Engine 4 began pump operations with Engine 12 supporting them from another plug. Engine 7 & 9 and Tower 10 joined the Resource pool and began cycling in and out and crews needed new bottles and rehab.

All firefighters on scene did an amazing job to save surrounding structures and to save as much property as possible. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters during this fire.

NOTE: The video is edited and sped up in an effort to reduce the 33+ minutes of time. Included one would be able to see the traffic and route to the scene, the arrival and subsequent extinguishing of the fire.
