A man and a dog had to be rescued from a second floor apartment fire at a structure at 8th Avenue and 20th Street in Huntington on Thursday morning.
“This was a two-alarm fire due to entrapment,” said Huntington Fire Chief Carl Eastham. “We believe we got everyone out, but one person is unaccounted for. However, his roommate said he believes he was not at the apartment when the fire happened, but he hasn’t been able to get in touch with him so we will do a secondary search to make sure there is nobody else inside.”
