Video: Trump talks about firefighters being shot as they go to fires

At a rally in Sarasota, Florida today (Monday) Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump acknowledged a firefighter in the audience and held up his helmet.

At the event hours before Election Day, Trump also talked about the fire service when he said, “I was with the fire groups the other day. They have a new problem. Nobody ever heard of this problem.”

After getting the helmet, Trump went on to say, “The firemen have a — they have a big problem. They have a shooting problem, where they’re being shot at as they go to fires. This is a new phenomenon. People don’t even know about it. They are being shot at as they go to fires. They are being shot at as they put out fires. Is that so? We’ve got to change folks. We have to bring people together. We have such a divided country.”
