In Tijuana, Mexico it appears firefighters created their own mass casualty incident with a stunt that went bad during a parade this (Sunday) morning.

Here’s a translated page from the website Hoy that explains what happened:

About 19 members of the Fire Department were injured this morning when starting an exercise during the parade that was held in commemoration of the 106th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution.

The squadron was in the gazebo of the Monument to Mexico, better known as “scissors”, opposite the Centro Cultural Tijuana (Cecut) when one of the items lost his balance while performing a stunt, causing a free fall of 3 meters height, leaving the front tire of the firefighter; so the driver triggered the brakes to prevent roll it with the unit, thus causing the collapse of other elements.
