Police say they have arrested the home owner in the arson fire that killed Hamilton firefighter Patrick Wolterman a year ago this month.
Lester Parker, 66, is facing felony murder and aggravated arson charges, according to Hamilton police, who announced an indictment Monday afternoon.
Wolterman fell through the first floor of Parker’s home while fighting a blaze on Dec. 28, 2015.
Hamilton Police Chief Craig Bucheit says he is confident more arrests will be made in the deadly arson fire that killed Hamilton firefighter Patrick Wolterman one year ago this month.
“I am confident there will be more arrests,” Bucheit said today after announcing that a Hamilton man has been arrested and charged with aggravated arson and murder in Wolterman’s death.
Bucheit said the investigation is still “very active.” There has been no claim to the $25,000 reward money.
