Some video, above, after the latest story of a hydrant parker getting hosed. This happened last (Sunday) night at a house fire in Omaha, Nebraska.
Law enforcement has had its “broken windows theory” for a long time. I suppose the firefighter BWT is this: “You don’t park on our hydrants & we won’t break your car’s windows.”
Check out the picture, below, of the interior of the car. WOWT-TV reports the car was impounded after the fire.
Firefighters were forced to smash the windows of the car parked near South 19th and M Street Sunday evening.
Firefighters had to thread the fire hose through the car to fight the house fire which reportedly displaced a metro family. Red Cross was assisting on scene.
