An update and more video from this (Thursday) morning’s fire in Orange County, California. So far, the best video is above. It’s from OnScene.TV and shows Orange County Fire Authority Engine 61 out front pumping water into the firehouse. A ladder truck and other equipment was destroyed in the fire.
The station’s fire engine was out on a call when the fire broke out, but a fire truck was still parked inside, Kurtz said.
The flames burned through first and second floors of the station, as well as the roof Kurtz said.
Most of the firefighter’s belongings that were left in the building were lost in the blaze, Kurtz said.
