Close call video: Collapse at FDNY 4th alarm as firefighters walk away

An interesting close call video from The Responder taken at yesterday’s (Wednesday) 4th alarm in Queens. The fire on Roosevelt Avenue in Flushing spread to multiple stores.

Starting at about 1:15 into the video two or three FDNY members walk under the overhang/sign of a Chinese restaurant. About 3 seconds after two firefighters walk away from the building the overhang/sign collapses on the sidewalk where they had been standing. Read more about the fire here.
