Firefighters rescued 3 people from the porch roof of a burning home in New Rochelle on Thursday.
The fire broke out on the second floor of a three-story home on Elm Street just before 7 p.m. It then spread to the top adjacent floor.
Two adults and a child were rescued by firefighters from the porch roof. The residents didn’t sustain injuries.
Fire burned through the house and the wind spread the flames to the side of the neighboring home.
