Early video, above, from Mike Nester at Nester Video Production taken at a two-alarm fire at an American Legion Post yesterday (Monday) afternoon in Whitehall, Pennsylvania.

During a severe thunderstorm crews from Whitehall Fire were dispatched to a structure fire at the Hokendaqua American Legion. Upon arrival of 3802 heavy smoke was pushing from the eves. Crews went to work putting multiple lines in service to knock down a well advanced fire in the upper area of the structure. The fire is under investigation however witnesses reported a lightning strike prior to the fire breaking out.
