Early video from Newsworking‘s Bill Rohrer (Rohrer) taken today (Sunday) during a house fire in North Catasauqua, Pennsylvania (Lehigh County). Here’s some of Bill’s description of the fire:
At 11:11 Sunday morning, Lehigh County 9-1-1 transmitted a box for 1140 3rd Street North Catasauqua Boro for a reported house fire sending Station 18, Engines 211, 4212, Ladder 231, Ladder 4221 and Medic 75.
The Deputy EMA director was immediately on scene and reported heavy smoke from the attic of a 3-story duplex and recommended a second alarm be transmitted.
At 11:16 the second alarm was sounded sending a full response from stations 2 and 18, Engines 38 (Whitehall), 33 (Han-Le-Co), 5 (Coplay), 45 (Allen), Ladders 38 & 36 (Whitehall), Rescue 11 for F.A.S.T., Air 32 and Rehab Unit from EMS 46.
