Caught on camera: Burned man rescued from Philly rowhouse fire

Video from Bill Rohrer’s Newsworking‘s Philly Fire Edition taken during a rowhouse fire yesterday (Saturday) showing a critically burned man being pulled from the fire by firefighters.

Battalion 8 used 2 engines 2 ladders for this two-story middle of row dwelling with heavy fire first floor.

Firefighters found and removed a man from the dwelling during the primary search. He was transported to Temple University Hospital in critical condition. A women was also transported with 3rd degree burns.


A man and a woman were seriously burned during a late night fire in North Philadelphia.

It happened around 10 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of West Rush Street.

Firefighters rescued a man from inside the building.
