Debbi Baker, The San Diego Union-Tribune:

A 34-year-old driver had the ride of his life after a collision left his car wedged underneath a semi-truck that continued to drive along Interstate 15 in the Cajon pass.

The California Highway Patrol said that the big rig was traveling at about 30 mph in the truck lane when it started to change lanes and the Nissan and it collided.

The semi traveled for almost a mile before Diaz’s ordeal was over.

When the truck driver was asked why he kept driving he replied, “I didn’t know.”
