House fire in Illinois

Chicago’s Steve Redick always has the goods when he sends us photos and video. The picture above and video below are from a fire on Monday in Lincolnwood, IL in the 6400 block of North Sauganash. Here’s Steve’s description:

Large ranch house…an unusual construction feature of a drive thru garage and the rear of the house emptied into a cul-de-sac. That’s where you see Niles eng 3 in the photos. The fire was in the attached garage and apparently the owner did a bit of mechanical work there and had a large amount of combustible or flammable liquids present. This is apparently why the Niles engine appeared to be supplying some class B foam. I arrived about 10 minutes before the box alarm and got some interesting shots.
