From StocktonFireHistory:

On June 12th, shortly after 4 a.m. Stockton Firefighters responded to reports of a structure fire in the 1700 block of Sutro Avenue. Engine 9 arrived on scene to find a single-story, single family boarded up house, with flames coming from the B side of the structure.

Stockton Firefighters worked quickly to bring the blaze under control without incident or injury. The building has burned before, and part of the roof had collapsed previous to this fire. This clip shows Stockton Firefighters extinguished the blaze safely and without delay.

Comments intended to troll, sharp-shoot, or incite controversy will be deleted. These videos are published to educate the public on what firefighters must encounter everyday. Comments that state firefighters should not enter this particular fire will be deleted; We have sworn to protect life, and we know there are squatters and homeless in abandoned buildings throughout the city. If we have the ability and can extinguish the fire in a safe and effective manor, we will enter the structure to do so. If there is a valid safety concern, then we will match it with equal restraint. Risk vs. Gain.

We are proud to serve and protect the citizens and City of Stockton, California.
