Fire yesterday evening destroyed the Station Auto Wash at 149 Catoctin Circle in Leesburg, Virginia. The fire was discovered in short order by a passerby who called 911 and a sheriff’s deputy around 7:30 PM. Medic 613 from Rescue Station 13 next door at 143 Catoctin Circle was first on the scene reporting significant fire conditions.

A second-alarm was requested and command officers determined this would defensive operation.

It took about an hour to contain the fire. A press release from the Loudoun County Department of Fire, Rescue and Emergency Management indicates two firefighters were treated for dehydration at an area hospital but no one was injured in the fire.

Loudoun Rescue Station 13 (Loudoun County VRS) sits on Side B of the Station Auto Wash. A supply line was hand laid through the station’s bays to a hydrant on Catoctin Circle to supply a ladder pipe. Click image for Google Maps.
